In June, SECTOR participants gathered at West Valley Occupational Center to celebrate the completion of the MC3 Multi-Craft Core Curriculum, a nationally recognized pre-apprenticeship training program for careers in construction. For these participants, many of whom are justice-impacted, this moment marked more than the end of a course, it was a declaration of forward momentum.
The MC3 program provides hands-on training, OSHA and CPR certification, and essential career preparation for entry into high-growth trades. It is designed for individuals who are serious about building a future in construction. For participants enrolled through ACE’s SECTOR program (Skills and Experiences for the Careers of Tomorrow), this training is paired with wraparound services, mentorship, and career placement support.

One participant secured permanent, full-time employment just in time for the celebration, bringing the room to cheers. Photos show the pride on their faces, gold gowns, medals, and the unmistakable energy of achievement.
This is what SECTOR is about. Not just learning skills, but restoring confidence, earning credentials, and taking the next step.
