RUTH YOUTHBUILD
RUTH YouthBuild is a leadership development program offering a WASC-accredited high school diploma, hands-on paid vocational training, personalized mentorship, and supportive services. With a curriculum grounded in social justice and community enrichment, participants earn while they learn and graduate with valuable certifications, career skills, and a clear pathway to employment or college — all while connecting more deeply to their community.

Why ACE?
RUTH YouthBuild offers individuals ages 16 – 24 an alternative to traditional high school environments by providing smaller classrooms and staff-to-student ratios, flexible schedules, and comprehensive wrap-around supportive services to ensure participants have all they need to succeed and thrive.
The academic and leadership skills gained through the program equip individuals with the knowledge to pursue their career goals and to become a positive force for change in the San Fernando Valley and beyond.

ACE works closely with the local high schools, probation department, and other community agencies in supporting alternative programming for individuals.
YouthBuild provides counseling, supportive services, referrals for substance abuse, gang intervention/prevention, mentoring and anger management classes in a supportive and safe environment.
Provides foundational education and training in the construction field while developing individuals’ soft skills for interviewing and future career employment.
